The Watkins Family

The way this sweet family first became my clients is such a sweet story. Some year ago, we won't discuss how long, I taught their eldest son. A few years ago, Missy reached out to me about doing photos for their Christmas card.  Every year they return and it's a fun way to keep in touch and watch the kids grow. When Missy's family was coming in town for vacation, of course we wanted to get everyone together and do a session.

I had just gotten home from my own vacation a few days before and my in-laws had just arrived into town for their vacation. Life was crazy to say the least.  We met in Hampton Park that morning and as I was driving over I noticed dark clouds looming. We rushed to start the session and the youngest of the group was entirely against photos...and he did everything in his power to communicate his disdain. Next, it started to rain.

This was a session that required me to get creative and constantly be on my toes. By the end of the session, the sun had come out so the light had changed and so had the humidity. Something else had changed, our littlest model was smiling.
