Engagement Pictures for Kady & Joe

I love engagement sessions...especially when I have clients that support my crazy ideas. It also helps when they are such a handsome couple. That's what happens when you have an x CSU baseball player and girl so gorgeous she could be Miss South Carolina.

Kady and Joe met through mutual friends when they were both undergrad students. It may have taken a little friend meddling to get that first Wild Wings Date in the books, but they haven't looked back.

Joe is creative and detail oriented. In fact, that's one of the things that makes Kady love him so much. Joe knows Kady sometimes better than she knows herself and can tell when she needs some special attention to cheer her up. This couldn't have been more evident than when he popped the question. Kady had a friend coming in from out of town and Joe went out of state to visit a friend. He of course came home early, but not before snapping pics of his friends dog that he could text her that day to make sure she was still convinced he was gone. Kady's parents were hosting a USC football game watch party and she was enjoying herself playing darts with a friend (to make sure she wouldn't see him coming). Kady's dad approached her and gave her a big hug. As the mother of two little girls, I can't even imagine what they moment of both joy and sadness feels like. Kady thought something sad had happened and told her Dad she loved him. When she opened her eyes, she saw Joe walking across the lawn and knew.

Kady and Joe don't disagree on much besides whether Sundays are meant for brunch & shopping or relaxation & sports. What's your vote?

Joe described his love for Kady because of how she makes him a better person each day. "She doesn't just tell me what I want to hear, she tells me what I need to hear."

I can't wait for their wedding in February, but until then swoon with me over these images.
