Jewel Tone Styled Wedding Session| Huspa Plantation
A Jewel Tone Styled Wedding
I've been at the edge of my seat to share these. For a few years now I've been secretly planning a styled wedding session. Enter Erin stage left (with Fiddlehead Photography). It's funny how social media works. I met my husband through myspace and now my photography wife through Instagram. Erin and I hit it off immediately. We started talking and planning a wedding so different from what we were seeing. We knew we wanted dark tones and large blooms.
The next member Erin and I brought on board was Amy Devito. Erin had ironically done Amy's family portraits right at the same time that we were looking for a planner. Enter Amy stage right. Amy is a lead designer at Mac & B. Amy was indispensable. She helped us make the vision come alive and helped bring the rest of the team aboard. She executed this sweetheart table with velvet ribbon touches superbly! Seeing it come together surrounded by the original homes ruins was ah-mazing.
One of the first additional members she brought to the team was Stephanie Gibbs. I'd worked a wedding with Stephanie before and was ecstatic to have her. The bouquet she designed was a knockout. I am loving large and unruly bridal bouquets.
Instagram once again came through. At one of our early planning meetings, Erin and I were discussing how much we loved the vintage look. She shared with me that she had been admiring the pieces curated by The French Eclectic. We shared our love with Amy and soon were were chatting it up with Katie and picking out an awesome sweetheart table, wicker chairs, velvet chair, and so many lovely gold pieces. Their warehouse is amazing.
Erin also brought on our invitation designer. Erin and Mollie had met at a coffee/lunch networking meeting. Mollie owns Hadley Press. I just love these deep tones on this paper.
Now that I'm typing this out, Erin was also incredibly indispensable because she also brought our dress on board. Erin met Alicia at Southern Protocol and she was excited and energetic to be a part. She hung out most of the day chatting with us and helping to make this a success. The gown is a knock out gown by Ivy & Aster, Secret Garden. The veil is a custom veil for Southern Protocol. The earings are by Moon & Lola. Kelly, our model, was finished by hair with Lindsey from Strawberry Blonde Salon and make-up with Mariah from Pampered & Pretty.
But I can't keep jabbering! Here are some of the gorgeous couple AND to see more you can go to Erin's blog.
