A Charleston Engagement| Naturally in Love with Bryan & Bailey

A Natural Downtown Charleston Engagement

One of the reasons I only do a few a exclusive weddings a year is so that I can “fall in love” with my couples and their story. A reason I include complimentary (sic mandatory) engagement sessions is selfishly for me. I love capturing couples in love. One of the first questions I ask my couples at their session is “Are you okay with a PDA?” These two now New Yorkers said absolutely.

Bryan and Bailey first met while doing theater at the College of Charleston. At the time I didn’t realize how fitting the name of the theater was where they spent much of their young romance. It wasn’t until I was editing these images that I had a “duh” moment.

These two actually met early on in their college days but paid little to no attention to one another until senior year. They’ve been inseparable ever since. They have two kittens that they adore as well as coffee, good books, and live music and theater. With all of this in mind, we really wanted to do some portraits in the campus library. However, we all overlooked the fact that they were on summer hours and would be closing earlier than usual. As we walked up to the doors we realized our mistake. We still had a good time doing them around their old stomping grounds at CofC. I can’t wait to show you more from their adorable wedding. Check back here in the coming weeks to see a jaw dropping sunset under oaks with blossoms and blooms everywhere.
